Optional Program: Sightseeing walk (free of charge) through the Old Town of Warsaw;
in the afternoon (4pm) there is a free live Chopin piano concert.
15 August
Optional Program: Visit the famous POLIN, the Museum of the History of Jews in Poland, a real must see. Beforehand a walk through the historical sites of the Ghetto Uprising.

A bus transfer from Warsaw, hotel Hampton by Hilton, to Belchatow will be organized

Arrival and check-in at the Santin hotel (www.hotelsantin.pl), the recommended accommodation. Time for lunch and a walk around the streets of the old town

Reception at the Regional Museum, welcoming by the Director of the Museum, Marek Tokarek, visiting the Museums Judaica exhibition and exhibit on the towns history

Round trip by bus to Zelow, Szczercow, and Widawa with some stops.- Duration approximately three hours (optional)

Welcome dinner at the Santin hotel, welcoming by the Mayor, Mariola Czechowska, information about the upcoming events

Bus trip to the former extermination camp Chelmno n. Nerem

Lunch at a restaurant in nearby Kolo, later transfer to Santin hotel, Belchatow

Meeting at the Commemoration Plaque (Narutowicza Square, across from the former synagogue), laying of flowers and speeches by the Mayor, Mariola Czechowska, and the President of the Center of Organizations of Holocaust Survivors in Israel, Avi Rosental

Jewish Cemetery Belchatow in Lipowa Street. Kaddish prayer with the Rabbi of the Lodz Jewish Community. Information about the renovation and the lapidarium project

Farewell lunch and book presentation of Cud, że przeżyliśmy by Andrzej Selerowicz

Concert of Jewish Music in Narutowicza Square

Meeting in Narutowicza Square where the citizens of the town will read out the names of murdered children of Belchatow, and where we will together light candles to honor the memory of the 5,000 Belchatowers
